About dues

Since 2018, dues are collected from members who sign up to be part of the Shoreline Community College Federation of Teachers. The faculty union represents all faculty and negotiates toward ideal working conditions for all faculty. Faculty who are not members cannot attend meetings or vote in union matters but are still represented. Dues are 1.3% of SCC income, deducted through payroll.

Member benefits
